Hey, fourth graders! My name is Mrs. Bain, and I am so excited for this school year! This is my fourth year teaching, and I’ve been at Gunstream all four years. I’m especially excited because this group of students was the very first class I taught when I taught 1st grade!

In 2025 I married my highschool sweetheart, and we will be welcoming our first baby at the end of July or early August. While I’m sad that I won’t get to join you all until my maternity leave is over in October, I am still incredibly excited for the amazing year ahead.

I was born and raised in Plano, Texas, and earned my degree in Education from the University of North Texas (Go Mean Green!). I’ve wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember, and I truly can’t imagine doing anything else.

When I’m not in the classroom, you can usually find me spending time with friends and family, working out at the gym, cheering on the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys, or soaking up the sun at the lake. I can’t wait to meet you all and have a fantastic year together!
