I am grateful to be part of Corbell as the PE Coach! I have been teaching elementary school since 1997, and teaching in Frisco since 2006. The year Corbell first opened, I was a 5th grade teacher here. Since then, I've held other roles in the district but I'm so thankful I had the opportunity to return to Corbell and coach PE! I began teaching and coaching Varsity Soccer in rural Virginia after graduating from Radford University. I moved to Texas in 2000, and the warm weather keeps me very content here. I have 3 children, 2 are adults and my youngest is in her senior year of High School here in Frisco (needless to say, I understand just about all parenting challenges)!!!
I grew up an Army brat and loved every bit of moving around and living in all different places, including overseas. Traveling is still one of my true passions because so much is gained by seeing new places, experiencing new cultures, and meeting people from different walks of life. I love the outdoors; Exploring State and National Parks, camping, hiking, kayaking, etc. The past three summers, my husband and I have road-tripped all over the country in our self-converted cargo van. Staying active has always been a passion of mine. I cherish learning from my students and all of our families here at Corbell. I am beyond thankful for this opportunity to partner with all of you and work with your children.
I can honestly say, “I have the best job in the world”!
