¡Hola!

Estoy muy emocionada de comenzar este nuevo ciclo escolar y formar parte de esta maravillosa comunidad. Algo interesante sobre mí es que considero a El Paso, Texas, mi segundo hogar. Como ciudad fronteriza, ocupa un lugar muy especial en mi corazón.

Estudié en la Universidad de Texas en El Paso (UTEP), donde obtuve mi licenciatura en Educación EC-6 con certificación bilingüe. Durante mi residencia docente, tuve la oportunidad de trabajar en un salón de 5.º grado dentro de un programa de lenguaje dual, una experiencia que reafirmó mi pasión por apoyar a los estudiantes en su desarrollo académico y lingüístico.

Me encanta acompañar a mis alumnos en su crecimiento, adaptando la enseñanza a sus necesidades individuales, valorando sus culturas y creando un ambiente donde se sientan seguros, motivados y entusiasmados por aprender cada día.

En mi tiempo libre disfruto viajar, leer y mantenerme activa. En un día común, me pueden encontrar disfrutando del aire libre, corriendo, descubriendo nuevas cafeterías o practicando algún deporte.

Estoy muy ilusionada por todo lo que este año escolar traerá y, sobre todo, por la oportunidad de conocer a mis estudiantes y a sus familias. ¡Espero que juntos tengamos un año lleno de aprendizaje, crecimiento y grandes experiencias!

Hi!

 I'm so excited to start this new school year here in this community. A fun fact about me is that another place I callm home is El Paso, Texas, a border city where I was born and raised. I studied at The University of Texas at El Paso, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in EC-6 Education with a Bilingual Certification. I completed my teaching residency in a 5th grade dual language classroom, which helped me grow my love for teaching and supporting students in both languages.

I enjoy helping students grow by giving them the tools they need to learn in ways that work best for them. I believe in celebrating our different cultures and building a strong love for learning in the classroom.

In my free time, I love to travel, read, and stay active. You’ll often find me outside running, hiking, exploring new coffee shops or playing sports.

I’m really looking forward to this school year and getting to know my students and their families!
