Welcome to Bright Academy! 

Hi there, and welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Angelica Cerda, and I’m beyond excited to be a part of the Bright Academy family! Being a teacher has been my dream for as long as I can remember, and I feel so lucky to live that dream every day with our youngest learners.

I was born and raised right here in the great state of Texas—Yeehaw! I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Texas (Go Mean Green!), and I’m passionate about creating a fun, loving, and engaging classroom where every child feels happy, confident, and ready to shine. I can’t wait for all the laughter, learning, and adventures we’ll share this year!
