Ms. Dover

Hi! My name is Abby Dover, and I am teaching 5th grade Science and Social Studies this year. This is my fourth year teaching and my third year at Bright Academy. Before I came to Bright, I spent four years at Texas A&M University and received a Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies as well as a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. Previously, I taught 4th grade in Humble ISD, which is in the northeast Houston area. I love Frisco ISD!

I always say that “science is everywhere!” Talk with your child about what they notice and wonder on a daily basis! I am passionate about getting students to love learning! I believe that everyday is a new opportunity to make our world a better place to be. I am excited for our class to learn more about each other and do this together!
