Morning Arrival Procedures:
Arrival locations are the same as last year. Parents may drop students off using the circular driveways in front of the school on Roadster Dr. and Jaguar Dr.
Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade will enter the school using the circular driveway entrance on Jaguar Dr.
Students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades will enter the school using the circular driveway entrance on Roadster Dr.
If you have students in multiple grade levels, please drop them off together using the oldest sibling’s assigned drop off location. Please see the arrival map for arrival drop off locations.
When dropping off your child, we request that parents stay in their vehicles and students exit the car on the passenger side of the vehicle. Staff members will be available to assist students exiting their vehicles.
Students need to be in their classroom at 7:45 to avoid being marked tardy, so please plan accordingly and arrive at school by 7:20 to allow time to get through the traffic and eat breakfast in the cafeteria if needed.
In order to ensure the safety of all students, please do not drop students off at the curb on Roadster Dr. or Jaguar Dr. Also, please do not drop students off in the parking lots on Roadster Dr. or Jaguar Dr. and allow them to cross the parking lot or carpool lanes without a parent escort.
Afternoon Dismissal Procedures
Teachers will escort students out for dismissal at 3:05.
Dismissal is always a little slower at the beginning of the year, so please be patient as we get started.
Students in Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade will exit the building on Jaguar Dr. and will be loaded into their cars using the Jaguar Dr. dismissal lane. If you will be walking up to get your child, please meet the teacher at the flagpole.
Students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade will exit the building for dismissal using the Roadster Dr. dismissal lane. If you are walking up to get your child, please meet the teacher at the picnic tables in the courtyard.
Students with younger siblings will exit the building for dismissal with the oldest sibling’s classroom.
Please review the dismissal map before entering the dismissal carpool lane.
Please stay in your car as a teacher will escort your child to the car.
Please make sure you have your child’s carpool tag with their name and teacher’s name displayed in the front window on the dashboard so teachers can call for students.
If you misplace your carpool tag, please request a new one from your child’s teacher, or write your child’s name, grade level, and teacher’s name on a piece of paper and put it on the dashboard.
Walkers:
If your child is a walker during dismissal, we ask that parents wait for the teachers to arrive at their designated dismissal spots. Please do not wait near the doors for students to exit the building.
K-2 Walkers: Parents of students in Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade who wish to walk rather than drive, may wait for their student at the flagpole. If your students is a walker, please meet them at the flagpole.
3-5 Walkers: Parents of students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade who wish to walk rather than drive, may wait for their student near the picnic tables.
Please carefully watch the speed limit during school zone hours.
Refrain from cell phone use while in school zones and carpool lanes during arrival and dismissal.
To ensure the safety of our students, parents, and staff, all parents and students need to utilize the designated crosswalks when crossing arrival and dismissal carpool lanes. All students need to be escorted by an adult across parking lots and carpool lanes during arrival and dismissal using the designated crosswalks.
We appreciate your grace and patience with helping us make sure all our students get home safely.
