  Dear Fifth Grade Parents,

Hello! My name is Lindsey Holt, and I am so excited to begin another amazing school year with you and your children. This is my 24th year in education and my 10th year at Boals Elementary. I graduated from Baylor University, and education truly runs in my family—I come from a long line of coaches and teachers, so you might say it’s our family business!

My husband is also an educator and coach in the district, and we have one son, Reese, who is currently attending Texas A&M University. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to teach students from kindergarten through eighth grade, and I can confidently say that fifth grade is the sweet spot. I absolutely love teaching this age group!

Outside of the classroom, you can often find me on the sidelines cheering for my husband’s team, spending time with family, watching sports, or exploring new restaurants. I’m looking forward to getting to know each of your children and making this a year full of growth, learning, and fun.
