Mrs. Snyder, Librarian
Hello, my name is Mrs. Snyder, and this is my first year as a librarian. Before moving into the library, I taught language arts for 13 years, nine of which have been in Frisco ISD. I am passionate about kids, reading, and research, so the library is the perfect place for me!
I am from Oklahoma, but have been in Texas since 1994. My husband, who I've been married to for 12 years, is from Iowa. We met while teaching. He is currently a math teacher and wrestling coach in a neighboring school district. We have two lively children, Jakson, who is 9 years old and loves Skylanders and Pokemon, and Hadley, who is 8 years old and loves competitive gymnastics and acting older than she really is! We also have three furry friends at home: two dogs, Oscar and Wylie, and a hamster named Violet.
In my free time, I love meeting with friends for dinner, gardening, running, and reading, of course. We also love to travel, although we didn't do much of that this past summer.
I'm so excited about this new adventure as the librarian at Blesoe. I look forward to getting to know your child, his/her likes and interests, and encouraging and supporting reading habits and skills that will benefit your child as he/she grows.
