It is an honor to serve as librarian for Anderson Elementary! The 2025-2026 school year marks my 25th year in education. I have held a variety roles: classroom teacher, elementary librarian, middle school librarian, campus administrator, and district administrator. By far, being a campus librarian is my favorite role of all! In addition to working at Anderson Elementary, I am an adjunct professor at Dallas Baptist University in the College of Education. 

My husband and I are originally from Bakersfield, California, and his military career took us to a few different states before we called the Dallas area home. In my spare time I love to read, listen to music, workout, go to the movies, explore new restaurants and food, and travel. 

I look forward to another year serving the Anderson community!
