Emily Merrill

Hi there!

My name is Emily Merrill and I am so excited to be starting my eighth year of teaching first grade at Anderson!

I was born and raised in Keller, Texas. When I graduated high school, I moved way out west and earned my degree in Early Childhood Education at Texas Tech (wreck ‘em!). While I absolutely loved my time there, I knew when I graduated I wanted to teach in Frisco! Little did I know, I would end up at the absolute BEST school.

Outside of the classroom, I love to spend time with my family and friends, read, do yoga, shop, and try new restaurants- especially brunch spots! But most of all, I love spending time with my rescue dog, Bradshaw!

I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to watch your kids learn and grow this year and I can’t wait to get to know you all. My goal is for your family to feel welcomed into our classroom and Anderson Family. I can't wait to spend the year with y'all!
