Hello Anderson Families!  

I am Amanda Hawkins and I am so excited to be starting my 15th year at Anderson Elementary and my first year teaching 5th grade! 

I have lived all over the United States but am happy to call Texas my home! My bachelor's degree is from the University of North Texas: GO MEAN GREEN! 

I am married to my husband Bill and our daughter Ellie is a 6th grader at Vandeventer this year. In my free time, you will find me reading, crafting, swimming, or spending time with family. 

I cannot wait to welcome your child into my classroom this year!
