Get to Know Mrs. Littlejohn

Hello! My name is Karen Littlejohn. I am the librarian at Anderson Elementary School here in Frisco ISD. This is my 35th year in education and my 27th year in Frisco ISD. I have been a 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade teacher and also worked in the FISD Curriculum Department as a Literacy Facilitator prior to coming to Anderson as the librarian. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education from Stephen F. Austin State University, my Master's Degree in Reading Education from Texas Woman's University, and completed my librarian certification coursework at Texas Woman's University. 

I am married, and my husband works in the Athletic Department in Frisco ISD. 

I am passionate about finding the right books for all readers! When I am not working, I love reading, being in the mountains or at the beach, traveling, yoga, hanging out in our pool, and spending time with friends and family.
