The social studies curriculum in Freehold Township is focused on providing opportunities for students to develop the social studies skills and knowledge they will need to be active, informed, reflective, and responsible citizens in a democratic society. Students are taught to think like historians by conducting research, examining historical documents, collecting and weighing evidence, and sharing their findings through different learning experiences. Students learn and understand history as it relates to the present and future of their lives.
