CLASS INFORMATION
6th Grade
Students entering 6th grade will primarily be beginning band students. All students will need to rent an instrument they will choose to play. Instruments include: Flute, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, or Percussion. Instruments can be rented through our music company David French Music. Scholarship instruments are available upon request if financial assistance is needed.
Students will be using the Essential Elements Book 1.
7th/8th Grade
Students in grades 7 and 8 will be second and third year players. Students will need to have Essential Elements Book 2 for the instrument they play.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Private lessons are highly recommended. We have found much success in our lesson program. The Lifelong Music Academy offers lessons on all instruments.
