Mrs. Raphael is a graduate of the University of Hartford.  In 2009, she received her Master's Degree in Elementary Reading and Literacy. Mrs. Raphael has also completed an additional 30 credits in Early Childhood Education courses. Mrs. Raphael began teaching in Franklin Lakes in 1996. Before teaching kindergarten at CRS, she taught kindergarten at HMR for 8 years. Mrs. Raphael was named the Teacher of the Year at Colonial Road School in 2012.

This year, the Kindergarten Teachers hope to bring to your children a passion for learning. Beyond teaching them academics, they wish to instill in them persistence and perseverance, so that they have the tools to tackle all of life's challenges.  They want them to learn that hard work will help them achieve their goals, and enthusiasm makes all work fun.
