About Me

Mrs. Scutti enjoys working at Colonial Road School as a physical educator and health teacher. Teaching children in kindergarten through fifth grade, including the autistic students, is an extremely rewarding position. She feels fortunate to teach in this wonderful district with much community support where it is a pleasure to promote fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

Bio

Mrs. Scutti attended William Paterson University as a Physical Education, Health, and Recreation undergraduate. After graduating she worked in the Ringwood School District and Kinnelon School District before coming to Franklin Lakes. She completed her Masters in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment K-6 and her +30 in Athletics while teaching in Franklin Lakes.

We are dedicated to providing a safe and physically capable learning environment where each student has the opportunity to be successful. Students are supported through a variety of instructional strategies and techniques designed to promote fitness and a healthy lifestyle. Assessments enable us to make modifications that are designed to meet student needs. Our program supports an active learning community where individual student achievements are encouraged.
