Mr. Kozichek is currently in his 16th year of teaching, occupying the roles of the Director of Bands, Music Technology Teacher, and Director of the Peer Leadership Corps. He received his B.S. in Music Education from West Chester University, M.S. in Educational Technology from Walden University, and his M.S. +30 in Education from The College of New Jersey.

Mr. Kozichek has participated in many types of performing ensembles such as county band, district band, regional band, symphonic band, wind ensemble, jazz band, percussion ensemble, pit orchestra, marching band, and several choruses. Mr. Kozichek served as drum major for the Reading Buccaneers Drum and Bugle Corps, as well as the West Chester University Golden Rams Marching Band. Mr. Kozichek began his career as a high school music teacher, directing an ACC top-5 marching band and winning a TOB State Championship for his Indoor Percussion Ensemble. Mr. Kozichek enjoys being outdoors, staying active, sports, and great food.

Mr. Kozichek intends to provide the opportunity for students to express themselves musically through an ever-growing selection of classes and ensembles. We strive to provide a fully developed music program open to each and every student of Franklin Lakes.
