Limits to Confidentiality

Limits to Confidentiality in School Counseling


All discussion that takes place in individual or group counseling will be confidential, with the following exceptions:

    -talking, writing or drawing about harming oneself or others

          -indicating that physical or sexual abuse is happening to you or other minors

   -indicating that there is intent to commit a felony crime


*When there are situations that fall into “gray” areas, staff will use best judgment to protect the welfare of students.
