Homework/Classwork

Homework and Remote Learning Days

Most homework will be the work that was not finished in class. Remote learning days will can be a combination of new material and completing unfinished classwork. Students will be expected to study spelling words at home. Spelling lists are given to students on Mondays. If a student does not have a homework assignment completed, s/he may be asked to work on it during recess. Make-up work from absences is given to your child on the day s/he returns and we expect it to be returned within a few days.

Friday Folders / Agendas

Friday Folders

We will be sending home graded school work in your student’s Friday Folder each week. The Friday Folder will contain a progress note with all of the assignments from the previous week and any important notes and messages. Any missing/redo assignments may be turned in by Wednesday after the weekend for partial credit. You must look through the Friday Folder to find the redo papers.

Please sign the Friday note and return it along with the folder containing any missing/redo assignments no later than Monday.

Agendas

We will be using an agenda book to help students keep track of when assignments are due. It is helpful to go over the agenda book with your child each night to see what homework needs to be done. We will be going over agendas as a class at the end of each day.
