About the Librarian

If you venture past Where the Sidewalk Ends and around The House at Pooh Corner, you might find me with my nose stuck in a book. At least that’s where I most like to be when I’m in the library. I’m a Corpus Christi native which makes me a Confetti Girl, and long before my 11 Birthdays, I fell in love with reading and libraries. My cats use my backyard at home as The Secret Garden, but my two dogs, Trixie and Lilly, think the backyard is Where the Wild Things Are as they are always chasing anything and everything, including the cats and each other.

Because I read, I’m not a wimpy kid, but I am Old School and most enjoy reading realistic fiction. So B. It. I stay away from horror as those types of books really do give me Goosebumps, and I find this genre Deep and Dark and Dangerous.
