Hello and welcome to my class!
Please take a moment to go over my classroom procedures and some of the frequent asked question.
Probably one of the most important things that you need to remember
that Spanish is a high school credit class that allows student to earn high school credits and G.P.A. points.
My classes require spending extra time and effort in order to pass, any student not passing or doing well the first six weeks will be considered for placement in another elective class.
If a student remains in class after the next six weeks, the course grade will permanently appear on his / her transcript.
Tutorials 7:45 am, students are welcome to come into my classroom for additional help whenever they need it.
Skyward This is an online grade book that you can find on the Flour Bluff web page, ( www.flourbluffschools.net ), I'll post the grades here for you to view. Please check the portal every week to check your student's progress. Contact the front office at FBJH if you need your access code.
Progress Report The students receive a hard copy of progress report and grades report every three weeks; for daily report you can always check on Skyward.
Projects We have a project for each one of the 6 weeks, these projects are given to the students with enough time to complete them, (about 2 weeks), To receive full credit the project must be submitted on time.
Parents, if you have any questions you can always send me an e-mail and I'll try to answer as soon as I possibly can.
I'm looking forward for a great year and I'm sure that with your support it will be a very successful one!
Sincerely,
Gabriela Palm
