Students are required to take Speech, Communication Theory and Practice, or Argumentation. Speech requires students to research, construct, analyze and deliver speeches for a variety of purposes and audiences. Skills will be developed in critical analysis of informational and persuasive sources. Presentations may include any of the following: persuasive, informative, impromptu and rhetorical analysis. Students will work on improving communication skills in partner and small group settings.
