Who are the Firelands Band Boosters?

The Firelands Band Boosters are a group of parents, friends, and alumni whose mission is to assist the growth and progress of the overall Instrumental Music Department through economic and moral support at the Firelands Schools.

The Boosters support and assist the Band Director and all students through the delivery of financial resources and volunteer services.  To get involved, you can either volunteer your time as you can throughout the year at various events, or become a full Booster member of the group and attend meetings and vote on general business matters.

By becoming a Firelands Band Booster member and volunteering your time, you are helping to ensure the success of this outstanding program.  Not only will you meet other parents and alumni, you'll have opportunities to participate behind the scenes by helping with uniform fittings, game day preparations, chaperoning events, being a "roadie" transporting equipment, cooking, cleaning, and whatever else is needed to help the Mighty Falcons take the field each week and support the students throughout the year. How do I stay up to date with the band?

Mr. Wiley and the Firelands Band Boosters regularly send out emails  to keep everyone informed.  We also update the website as needed, use social media, and advertise in the Firelands Express to keep our families and fans informed of all band events and news.

You can find us on Facebook!  Firelands Band Fans.  This is a great way to keep informed of all last minute and up to date information regarding both the boosters and the band program.  Mr. Wiley often posts information on the site in addition to the newsletters and emails he regularly sends out.  

The Boosters may place important information into the students' boxes at times, so please ask your child to look in their slots regularly for important notes or information. 

Want to sport MFMB Apparel?

Families can purchase band apparel including buttons,  jackets, sweatshirts, and band t-shirts.  We will be organizing a sale of band apparel in the fall of 2022!
