About Mrs. Anderson

Hi!

This year is my seventh year teaching! After twenty-five years of working in the financial industry as a Registered Representative I came to the conclusion that I really did not enjoy what it was that I was doing. Knowing that being a teacher is what I wanted to do when I first went to college, I decided to pursue a new career in education.

When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling,"upcycling" furniture and spending time outside. I am married with two daughters. My oldest daughter, Winifred, is in manufacturing sales and my youngest daughter, Elizabeth, recently completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Stage Management and is moving to Chicago to pursue her dream of working in theatre! Throughout the years I have filled a number of roles within the Forest Hills district ranging from student (FHC), classroom volunteer, PTO boards, athletics, and coaching.

I have had the opportunity to travel to a variety of different places within the United States and have been to twelve foreign countries. While traveling I like to explore the areas I am visiting to learn as much as I can about the history and people of the area.
