The fourth quarter project will be a presentation. Students will be creating and giving a presentation on one of the topics listed below. Separate content outlines will be provided for each topic. Students may work as an individual or in pairs. They may but are not required to work with partners from previous projects. Presentations may take the format of a power PowerPoint Presentation, Prezi Presentation or any Google Slide presentation of their topic. Presentations should be 10-15 minutes in duration. Students should provide a digital copy of the presentation to the teacher so that it may be posted on the website. Students will also be required to provide a vocabulary list of at least 10 words and a worksheet consisting of at least 15 questions that correlates to the material presented. The assignment is due on Monday May 18, 2015 by 7:55 am. All pieces are to be turned in via email or google docs to jkots@fatherjudge.com. Any assignment submitted late will be 25 pts off per day including the weekend. Students will then give their presentations to the class in the days that follow.

Presentations
All presentations regardless of format should be 10-15 minutes in length. It should include all important concepts, providing depth and breadth of the topic. Slides should incorporate the headings and subheadings used by the text and graphics to explain, clarify or enhance understanding of a given topic. A title slide should indicate the topic and the name(s) of the member(s) of the team giving the presentation.
Vocabulary List & Vocabulary Review
Vocabulary List should incorporate all those words that are key to understanding the topics discussed. Each vocabulary list should be at least 10 words in length. The vocabulary review should have one question for each of the vocabulary words on the created list. It should be in one of three formats, matching, multiple-choice or fill in the blank. An answer key must be provided separately for the quiz
Worksheet:
The worksheet should be in a similar format to what you receive in class. It should provide a guided outline the all the important facts and concepts presented. All of the answers to the worksheet must be present in the presentation. The worksheet must include at least 15 questions. The questions can be multiple-choice, true and false or fill in the blank questions. Question types should be varied and reflect those type seen in standard class worksheets. Vocabulary and the definitions are not acceptable content questions.
Presentation:
Students will use their PowerPoint presentation to “teach” their peers about their assigned section. Student presentations should be 10-15 minutes in length. Students should know the material on their slides. They should not be reading directly from the PowerPoint. Cue cards may be used but cannot be read word for word. Students will be graded on the presentation according to the rubric provided.
