When can I use the library?
The library is open from 7:45 am - 3:30 pm.
Students: Please get prior approval before coming in before school starts. You may come to the library at any time during the school day. Your teacher has a pass that you need to bring with you when visiting during the school day. Every student will come with their class at least once every week.
How can the library help you, the student?
Mrs. Kempel teaches individuals and classes the skills needed to find information in multiple sources. Individual assistance is available to students needing instruction in reference skills.
You have access to 6 iPads to access the library catalog and other applications.
Need a good book? Ask Mrs. Kempel, Mrs. Akyuz or Mrs. Freeman for suggestions. If you have any questions about anything in the library, please ask!

Number of copies: about 19,000
Number of periodical and magazine subscriptions: 13 student magazines
Daily circulation: about 140 total circulations daily
How many books can I have checked out?
The number of materials checked out varies by grade level.
4th and 5th grade students may borrow what they need for their recreational and information needs (4-5 items) for a 2-week period. Additional materials needed for a school assignment may be checked out as needed.
3rd grade students may borrow 3 books and/or other materials for a 2-week period. Additional materials needed for a school assignment may be checked out as needed.
1st and 2nd grade students may borrow 2 books and/or other materials for 1 week. Additional materials needed for a school assignment may be checked out as needed.
Kindergarten students will begin with checking out 1 book for 1 week. As the students become more familiar with library procedures, they will checkout 2 books for 1 week.
