Letter from our school social worker

Message from Youth First Social Worker, Miss Jackson:

Hello ECS students and parents! First let me start off by saying, I hope you all are staying safe and healthy. I am praying for each and every one of you during this time. Also, students, I miss seeing your smiling faces in the hallways or out at recess when I stop by.

Parents, I want you to know I am still available for any mental health concerns or questions, whether it’s for students I meet with on a regular basis or not. Youth First is setting up a “from home” business line to reach out, call parents, and check-in on the students I meet with regularly; however, parents even if I did not meet with your child on a regular basis while we were in the school building, do not hesitate to reach out about any mental health concerns.

Youth First also has a Social Emotional Learning page on their website, www.youthfirstinc.org/selmaterial. Please check this out if you feel necessary.

Lastly, parents you may contact me at keishajackson@evansvillechristian.org with any questions or concerns you may have.

Miss Jackson

Thank you.
