How to Cite an Image

Make sure to cite images!

1) FIND AN IMAGE ON A CREDIBLE WEBSITE

2) COPY THE IMAGE. Here are some options...

Option I: Drag the image from the website to the file.
Option II: Click the Control key> click the image> click "Save Image As"> save the image> drag the image to your file.
Option III: Take a screen capture of the image and save to the desktop (Command-Shift 4)> drag the image to your file.
Option IV: Take a screen capture of the image to copy the image (Command-Control-Shift-4)> paste (Command V) the image into the file.
NOTE: Option IV helps you avoid filling up your computer with images!

3) CITE THE IMAGE SOURCE: Copy the website (URL) where you found the image and paste it into your presentation.
