Networking

Teachers will meet in job-alike groups during scheduled Networking time. Collaboration and peer to peer sharing allow fantastic opportunities for professional growth.

Teachers of Curricular Areas that span K- 12 assignments (Art, Media, PE, Counselors, Music) follow the Secondary schedule.

Prompts to guide the networking conversations include:

• “Something new I am trying this year is…”
  • In your response please describe reason you selected the new strategy/curriculum/approach, initial successes/failures, tweaks that have increased success, and future plans.
• “One thing I would like ideas to help me with…”

Connecting Educators

Google Groups have been established for most content areas and grade level/grade band job alike groups. The group is intended to act as a “listserv”, giving all members both the opportunity to receive information and also the opportunity to reach out to all members. ESU #5 staff are excited to have this improved method for contact that will improve both communication and collaboration with ESU staff and district staff AND among staff from different districts.
