Professional Development Opportunities
The Federal Program Compliance Division is announcing a series statewide virtual training opportunities for Local Education Agencies, Education Service Centers, and the public related to federal grants administered in the Division. The training series will take place in January, February, May and June 2023. Training will be provided by the Program Directors. A link to access the voice-over presentation and handouts will be added to this webpage after each training. There is no cost for the training. Parent Family Engagement Statewide Conference
The Parent and Family Engagement Statewide Conference provides valuable instruction to educators to continually improve their parent, family, and community engagement programs and information for parents and families to build their capacity to support their student’s efforts to meet the state’s academic achievement standards. Statewide practitioners, including TEA staff, will offer sessions on innovative approaches for supporting PFE programs and activities.
The conference will feature keynote speakers Jon Gordon, Ruby Payne, and Todd Nesloney.
