Homework

I will send home homework with your child periodically. Your child will have a speech folder for homework. Please complete the homework, sign and return the homework and folder to school. Practice at home is important to ensure that sounds and skills are being carried over into everyday activities.

Progress

I will update speech and language goals listed in your child's IEP quarterly. The updates will come home with your child's report card.

Annual Reviews

Every year your child will have an annual review. I will be contacting you to schedule a meeting to go over progress for the year and to make a new plan for the upcoming year and make a new plan for the upcoming year. It is important for you to attend this meeting. It is a great opportunity to see the progress your child has made and to discuss an concerns/questions your may have.

Your child was scheduled for speech and language services based on the minutes listed in his/her IEP. I will see your child for speech and language services at a time that works with his/her classroom teacher.
