The project 'Get-togethers towards a sustainable collaboration in IoT' aims at building the basis of a sustainable collaboration between the German side (mainly the University of Applied Sciences, Offenburg and the Technical University of Dresden) and the Tunisian side (mainly the National School of Computer Sciences (ENSI), University of Manouba, and National Engineering School of Tunis (ENIT) –University of Tunis El Manar) on the field of Internet of Things (IoT). The goals are:
first, improvements in the field of teaching and training in the area of the Internet of Things at the partner institutions, and consequently enhancing the employability of graduates;
second, help partner universities and researcher laboratories to be involved in joint research projects and to become potential incubators.
The project is composed of several actions:
Action #1: The first action consists on funding the internship of the graduation project of Mr Nidhal Mars, final year student at ENSI, “Embedded Systems and Software” specialization at HS-Offenburg, under the supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Axel Sikora (HS-Offenburg) and Dr.-Ing. Chadlia Jerad (ENSI, Tunisia).
Action #2: The second action is a forging contacts trip. The Tunisian partner team visited two German universities: HS-Offenburg ([More]) and TU Dresden (ZIH and cfaed).
Action #3: The third action, subject of this event, consists of 3-days school and 2-days workshops. The targeted public of the school is undergraduate students (30 attendees) from ENSI and ENIT, and professors, also from both institutions. The 2-days workshop includes visiting Tunisian universities and Technoparcs, in addition to round table discussions. The workshop targets German as well as Tunisian professors.
This event is powered by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service). The project is accepted under transformation program Line 2.
