For your term 2 assignment you are required to choose a topic you would like to learn more about or educate your classmates on, ask at least 4 inquiry questions, locate relevant information to answer the questions in-depth and then create a website and present a 10-minute presentation (including your online quiz) about the topic.
Although this is a free choice research project and you can choose a topic you know lots about, you are however required to extend your knowledge and understanding of the topic.
You will need to present your information in a way that engages and educates your audience: your class members. Your presentation also needs to include an online quiz (OR write down at least 10 multiple choice questions if you do not have access to the internet) that checks your audience’s knowledge of the topic after your presentation.
We will have approximately 4 in-class study times: during these times you will learn how to create a bibliography and a website. Most of the work will need to be completed at home, if you don’t have access to the internet, you can borrow books from the library and write your research notes on paper and then use in-class time to upload the information digitally. You can also work in the Library on Wednesday lunchtimes and in-class on Tuesday lunchtimes.
I have outlined a study plan that should help you stay on top of your assignment.
