NYSSMA levels 1 and 2: solo, any three major scales and sight reading
NYSSMA levels 3 and 4: solo, any seven major scales and sight reading
NYSSMA levels 5 and 6: solo, all fifteen major scales and sight reading
Scales are to be performed from memory, one octave,
moderate speed, ascending and descending.
Three of your prepared scales will be chosen by the adjudicator.
