Educational site for grades K-12
The Online Writing Lab (OWL) at Purdue University houses writing resources and instructional material, and they provide these as a free service of the Writing Lab at Purdue. Students, members of the community, and users worldwide will find information to assist with many writing projects. Teachers and trainers may use this material for in-class and out-of-class instruction.
Library of Congress offers not only current information, but it also includes archives, documents from the past, video clips, photographs and sound bites. Whether the student refers to a video clip to introduce a topic, or a student researches pictures from the Roaring 20’s, they are able to find a great amount of information on this site.

Quiz Hub is a site that you can visit to practice your skills and test your knowledge.
Check out regentsprep.org to practice your skills and test your knowledge of a particular subject area.
Internet Public Library is also a wonderful site. It offers resources by subject, access to newspapers and magazines, a writing guide. The search engine on the site is easy to use and the site is very simple to navigate.
Youtube is a great resource. It includes video clips, lessons posted on line, etc. I often use this site to provide a visual for specific lessons and/or topics.
