1. www.jwpeppermusic.com You can listen to many of our concert songs on the J.W.Pepper website. This is the website I use to order music for the orchestra. You do not need to purchase the music in order to listen to it. Simply go on the website and type in the name of the song. Scroll down to find the same version for string orchestra that we are doing (if there's more than one version) and click to "listen."
2. www.scmea.org www.lisfamusic.org These are the links for the SCMEA (Suffolk County Music Educator's Association) and LISFA (Long Island String Festival Association) websites. Both of these associations host all-county festivals where students from Elwood are selected to participate. Participation is based on NYSSMA score and teacher recommendation.
3. www.nyphilkids.org This is a great website that is sponsored by the New York Philharmonic. On this website you can play games, learn about composers, learn about some of the performers, make your own instrument, create your own music, and much more.
4. https://www.brainpop.com/artsandmusic/ Brain Pop has great musical activites!
5. https://flat.io/ Flat is music software that let's you notate and write your own music. The basic software is free.
