El Tejon Middle School is surrounded by beautiful Tejon Ranch and is a stones throw away from Old Fort Tejon in Lebec, California. Established in the early 1900s, El Tejon Middle School is considered by many locals to be a historic landmark. Currently, this scenic campus houses close to 225 middle school students grades 5-8.

At El Tejon Middle teachers work diligently and creatively to determine the essential and supplemental standards students need to master before going on to the next grade. Additionally, teachers meet weekly to collaborate on effective teaching strategies, analyzing test data, and creating Common Formative Assessments (CFAs) by engaging in Professional Learning Communities.
