Description of Club:

The Edmonds College Rocketry Club is a place for people interested in rockets, aeronautics, or who wish to learn about the resources and tools that Edmonds College has to offer students in a fun, and mildly explosive manner. We work within various STEM fields including Aerospace, Robotics, Materials Science, and Electronics. Previous rocketry experience and/or knowledge NOT required.

Meet Our Officers!

Club Scope & Objectives:

First time members will work with the rockets from day one. Starting with basic low power kits (created by our senior club members) before graduating to designing high power rockets or working on the team rocket. In this club you will have the opportunity to work with simulation software, composites, and various workshop tools and have the option to branch out into multiple fields of engineering / science.

Our club is mostly self-taught, and rocketry is a diverse topic that incorporates almost every STEM field from Physics and Aerospace to Materials Science and Chemistry. Once they learn the basics, members are encouraged to branch out into any field or project they choose.

Club activities include building rockets, learning about rockets, camping, and finding fun.
