Community Service

Our Commitment...

Ed-Co FBLA has a long and proud history of fundraising and helping other in our community. We are committed to continuing this proud tradition for years to come. We have four main volunteer events that we host each year. All of the proceeds raised either go back to a specified organization or back into our local community.

FBLA-PBL & March of Dimes

For nearly 40 years FBLA-PBL has been partners with March of Dimes and has consistently ranked as the top clubs organization. March of Dimes focuses on helping premature babies and families fight. Many families in the Ed-Co School District have been impacted by this organization which is why our chapter continues to raise funds. Without the support of our community, our chapter would not be able to place year after year at SLC with the most money raised.

American Red Cross Blood Drive

For over a decade Ed-Co FBLA has organized and helped work with the American Red Cross to raise thousands of units of blood. Each Spring the chapter hosts a blood drive in the HS Gym and typically exceeding the goal number of pints. Members are responsible for setting up appointments, hanging posters, and providing baked goods for the drive. On behalf of all Ed-Co FBLA members we would like thank everyone who has donated to our blood drives and look forward to seeing you at future blood drives.

Trick-or-Treating for Canned Goods

Each year the Ed-Co FBLA members dress up on Halloween and trick or treat for canned goods. Goods are collected in Edgewood, Colesburg, and Greeley communities. Not only do members have fun, they are able to give back to their community members. These canned goods are later donated to local food pantries in our community, this is one way our chapter gives back to those in need.

Pennies for Patients

Many area families have been affected by Leukemia and Lymphoma. To help the chapter began raising funds for this non-profit in 2014. Each year, Ed-Co has been one of the top schools in the state for raising funds. The chapter is so thankful that the community has graciously embraced this campaign by supporting various fundraisers throughout the years.
