Ms. Boyd teaches in the Choral Music Department at EPHS. She grew up in Hudson, Wisconsin and graduated from Hudson High School. After student-teaching at Eden Prairie High School, Ms. Boyd graduated from University of WI-Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Music Education and an emphasis in Adaptive Music. In March 2011, she completed a Masters in Education with an emphasis in Differentiated Instruction from Concordia, St. Paul. This is her 17th year at EPHS. Ms. Boyd teaches all the curricular choirs: Concert Choir, Treble Choir, Bass Clef Choir, and Chamber Choir. She has been married to her husband Bill for 17 years. They have a son named Will who is almost 10 and a son, Tommy, who is 8 years old. She has a pup named Charlie, who is two years old. When not at work or school, you can find the Boyd family at baseball, flag football, and basketball games and practices, as well as School of Rock and St. Andrew Church activities! The Boyds love boating, visiting family, snowmobiling and doing house projects when not at sporting or music events!
