The right accessories on your bike can make all the difference in the world. The proper accessories can be the difference between a pleasurable cycling experience and a distasteful one. Fenders make riding on rainy days so much more enjoyable, since the keep you dry and keep your clothes clean. A rear rack, carrying all your gear for you, will soon become your new best friend, as it takes the load of your back during your commute. Lights, front and rear, running day or night, are you best protection against motorists who aren't paying attention or who cannot see well. You need a lock, if you want to leave your bike unattended and you want it to be waiting for you when you get back.
