The Constitution

Summary: The Constitution of the United States, the document that established our system of government, has withstood the test of time. The fifty-five delegates who shaped the Constitution lived in a mostly rural America. Now, over two hundred years later, most Americans live in urban areas. Still, the Constitution has manage to fulfill James Madison’s hope, creating a government which will last for ages.
