PSAT/SAT 10/11 Callout Script:

Good evening, Parents and Guardians, this is Raja Atallah, academic advisor at Northview High School.

This is a long message with important information about our test day this Wednesday. I do appreciate your patience.

On Wednesday, October 13, we are offering the PSAT test for all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students and the SAT non-college reportable to seniors who still have not met the graduation requirement of FSA Reading and/or Algebra 1 EOC.

If your senior child has already met the graduation requirements of FSA Reading and Algebra 1 EOC for a standard diploma, he or she will not be required to be in attendance during the time the SAT- non-college reportable test is administered on October 13.

Your senior may check in late on Wednesday, October 13. He or she must arrive at school by 11:25 in order to report to his or her assigned location by 11:30.

Those checking in late are responsible for their own transportation. If your senior does not have transportation to arrive late, then he or she should ride the bus at the regular time.

All 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students must report to school at the regular time on October 13.

Due to the length of the test, all students will receive a breakfast bag in the morning. Also students may choose to bring a snack bar or other non-liquid snacks to eat during the five-minute breaks during the test.

Testing ends at various times between 12:00 and 2:30—or possibly after. Students may not check out in the middle of the test.

It is important that your child takes this test and does her or his best. The PSAT test results can lead to scholarship opportunities and can help prepare students for the college SAT test.

Thank you.
