EREC Scholarships (Deadline: March 1, 2026)

EREC is offering TWO scholarships – one for a trade/vocational program, and one for a 4-year college/university (Herman D. Johnson Scholarship). The deadline for both scholarships is March 1, 2026.

Escambia River Electric Cooperative (EREC) will award scholarships to graduating seniors in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties whose parent or guardian is a member of the cooperative. 

HERMAN D. JOHNSON SCHOLARSHIP

Two $4,000 scholarships ($1,000 a year for 4 years) to a 4-year college. Students must maintain a grade-point average of 2.5 or higher.

TRADE/VOCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

Two $1,000 scholarships – Students must show proof of enrollment and maintain a grade-point average of 2.0.

Daniel D. Garza Scholarship (Deadline: March 31, 2026)

Eligibility
• High school senior in Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, or Escambia County
• Experienced the death of a parent, sibling, or legal guardian
• Current US citizen or legal resident
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Planning to attend an accredited US college, university, or vocational school full-time or part-time after graduation

Daniel D. Garza Memorial Scholarship 

Brian Schultz STEM Career Student Scholarship (Deadline: January 23, 2026)

New this year, FASFEPA is honored to be able to offer the Brian Schultz STEM Career Student Scholarship to graduating high school seniors planning to further their education in Technology or STEM based careers in trade/ technical education. 

Student applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the scholarship:

·         Be a senior who is on track to graduate in May/June of 2026 and planning to pursue a career in the area of technology / technical education;
·         Be eligible under current USDA guidelines as free or reduced-priced meals or Approved CEP Direct   Certification for free or reduced lunch; and
·         Provide a picture with the application to be used in an announcement and on the FASFEPA webpage. (.jpg or .png format)

Completed application packets are to be returned to the school counselor no later than January 23, 2026.  

A Scholarship award announcement will be sent to both the recipient and district by March 13, 2026.

The scholarship award amount is $2,500 per recipient.

PSC Scholarships (Deadline: Multiple deadlines)

The 2026-2027 PSC Scholarship Application and the 2026-2027 Presidential and Ambassador Scholarship Applications are now open. 

Students interested in the Presidential or Ambassador Scholarships are also encouraged to complete the general PSC Scholarship Application, as it provides access to over 300 school-administered awards. Please note that in order to submit any PSC Scholarship Application, the student must already be accepted into the college. 

• General PSC Scholarship Application 

  • This single application matches students with a wide variety of scholarships based on academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, financial need, athletics, and other criteria.

  • By submitting this application once per academic year, students are automatically considered for all scholarships they qualify for.

  • Deadline to apply: June 1, 2027

• Presidential Scholarship

  • A competitive, full-tuition and books scholarship for up to 30 credits per year for two years.

  • Recipients are recognized as exemplary student leaders at Pensacola State College.

  • Deadline to apply: December 15, 2025

• Ambassador Scholarship

  • Awarded to a select group of students who represent PSC at official college events.

  • The mission of the student ambassador program is to promote Pensacola State College to prospective and current students and their families, guests, business partners, friends, donors, and alumni of PSC.

  • This full scholarship covers tuition and books. Applicants must complete an interview as part of the selection process.

  • Deadline to apply: December 15, 2025

Eligibility Requirements for Presidential and Ambassador Scholarships:

• Must be a U.S. citizen or Resident Alien 

• Must be a current high school senior, graduating in Spring 2026, and planning to start classes in Fall 2026 

• Minimum unweighted GPA: 

  • 3.2 for Presidential 

  • 3.0 for Ambassador 

• Must provide at least one letter of recommendation

The Hagan Scholarship (Deadline: December 1, 2025)

The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, designed to provide recipients with the opportunity to graduate college debt-free.

Eligibility Requirements

1. Must attend a high school located in the United States.

2. All high school students are eligible regardless of nationality.

3. Must be fluent in the English language.

4. Must be in the high school graduating class.

5. Must have achieved an unweighted 3.50 CGPA based on a 4.0 Grading Scale.

6. Must enroll in an eligible four-year College or University in the first fall semester following high school graduation.

7. The scholarship cannot be used to attend a community college, junior college, or online institution.

8. Must maintain a four-year or less graduation schedule, or complete the equivalent of a four-year degree if in a professional program.

9. Must work 240 hours from January 1, 2026, until September 1, 2026.  Work must be regularly scheduled employment performed under supervision for compensation. Employment can be full-time or part-time.

10. Applicant’s Adjusted Gross Household Income reported for 2024 Federal Income Tax Purposes must not have exceeded $100,000. “Household Income” is defined as the total income received by all adult members of a household living under the same roof.

11. Applicants are not required to provide FAFSA information. Finalists must provide the FAFSA Summary showing the SAI.

AgVocator Scholarship (Deadline: January 31, 2026)

Farm Credit of Northwest Florida is giving away up to $24,000 for the 2026 AgVocator Scholarship. Applications will be accepted through Saturday, January 31, 2026. This year, one recipient will be awarded up to $20,000, and two additional finalists will be awarded $2,000!
