Dual Enrollment

Eligibility

To take dual enrollment classes, a student must have an unweighted high school grade point average of 3.0 or above and must have earned appropriate college placement test scores (see table to the right) to enroll in college credit courses.

To take the ACT, register here: https://www.act.org/ 

To take the SAT, register here: https://www.collegeboard.org/ 

If you are 11th or 12th grade, see testing coordinator to receive fee vouchers for the ACT and the SAT. 

To take the PERT, contact PSC to schedule your test: 

For the PERT, you need a photo ID and $10; you also need to know your social security number.

    Vocational/Career Certificate Applicants:


If you do not choose those options listed above, your application may not be submitted as a dual enrollment applicant and you may have to redo it.

If you need to change your schedule after registration, use the same link as the registration form; in the dropdown menu on this first page, make sure you select "I have a schedule for the selected semester; I need to change it."

Selecting College Courses: 

Your primary goal is to take courses needed for high school graduation. Your secondary goal is to take courses for your AA/AS degree.

When you select the major, select "View Course Requirements" in the left menu. 


After you have a list of the courses you need to take for the semester, go to https://pensacolastate.edu/coursesearch.php to find specific sections to set up the schedule and complete the online registration form.
