Your Eckerd College Mailing Address

Every student is assigned a Campus Box Number. This is not a physical mailbox: it is a reference that Mail Services uses to ensure that your mail and packages are accurately assigned. Letter mail and packages should always be addressed as follows:

✅ New students: if you don’t know your campus box number yet, that’s okay. You will receive that information as soon as you arrive on campus. For anything shipped before your arrival, please ensure that you use your full name (with middle initial, if applicable), omit the line with the Campus Box, and follow the rest of the formatting guidelines above.

📝Please note: the campus box number is not a P.O. Box and should not be referred to as such. Some shipping carriers and online vendors do not ship to P.O. boxes; and USPS processing equipment looks specifically for mentions of a P.O. Box and pulls those pieces for routing to post offices. 

📌 Key takeaway: including the campus box number on all letters and parcels is very important. It is not unusual for students to have similar names; in some cases, both the first and last names are very similar. In these circumstances, absence of the Campus Box number can cause confusion and delays.
