Lunch Bunch
ECDC Nursery School
Children at ECDC Nursery School have the opportunity to extend their day from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM. They bring their lunch to school in a lunch box and have an opportunity to dine with their friends. During the Lunch Bunch period, children from both classrooms come together in one room. Lunch bunch teachers emphasize the importance of eating healthy foods first and saving any sweet treats for last. After the children have finished their lunch, they still have time to play with their friends or engage in a teacher-led activity. These activities may include art projects, creative movement activities, dramatic play activities, games, etc.

During Lunch Bunch children:
learn table manners
have a chance to spend some time with friends or siblings from the other class
expand the regular school hours
expand curriculum experiences and activities
Parents may sign-up their child for any given day of the week
on a trimester basis
for the whole year
on a drop-in basis
