Preschool at Central Elementary School

East Hanover’s Integrated Preschool Program is a general education inclusive program designed to provide a preschool enriched curriculum. The curriculum is aligned with the New Jersey Department of Education’s Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards of Quality.

Application for the East Hanover Township School District’s 3-year-old preschool class and 4-year-old preschool class for the 2020-2021- school year opens on January 13, 2020. All children must turn Age 3 or Age 4 by October 1, 2020, and must be toilet trained in order to enroll for a September start date. Alternately, students who do not meet this cut off may be eligible to attend on their third birthday should there be room in the preschool classes. Please contact the Special Services Office if you wish to inquire about this option and space during the school year.

Enrollment, for both sections, is limited and may need to be determined by a lottery drawing. Students currently enrolled in the preschool program will be guaranteed a spot once their application is submitted. Applications, with deposit, are due by Friday, April 9, 2020. The lottery drawing, if needed, will occur on Friday, May 8, 2020 for any additional openings in the preschool classes.
