This year we will have social studies during the first half of each trimester.In Social Studies, we will be learning about the following topics: geography of NJ, the regions of NJ, Lenni Lenape, explorers, events leading to the revolutionary war, and the development of our new nation. We will be using our textbook to read and discuss these topics. Assessments will include chapter tests (primary), vocabulary quizzes and open-book lesson reviews (secondary), and homework/classwork (supportive).
