About Me

Welcome to Digital Media Communication at Eastern University!

I am Dr. Hyeri Jung. I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. Upon receiving my doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin, I came to Eastern University (EU) in 2017.

We are all creators. We live in a digital mediascape where we have unprecedented ways of telling, creating, and sharing our stories whatever our form of expression -- photography, filmmaking, animation, games, audio, music, websites, or media communication -- may be.

This site is for the COMM 225 Journalism Fundamentals and COMM 361 Digital Media Production courses at EU. Current students, prospective students, or anyone who is interested in digital media are always welcome to explore this site. I hope you enjoy!
